Superior Sweeps, Inc. was established in November 1992 by George T. Ivey, Jr. The floor sweeping operation was bought from Carroll Chemical Company, who originally purchased it from Southern Chemical Company. The formulas used to manufacture floor sweep were purchased along with the equipment. The formulas have been proven for over 35 years.

The company is fully automated and can be run with minimum personnel to maintain low overhead. We package in new corrugated boxes ranging in sizes seven to 32 gallons. We also package in new 16 gallon drums, 22 gallon drums and 58 gallon recycled kraft fiber drums with paper, plastic and steel tops. All of our containers have plastic liners put in them before being filled with product. Superior Sweeps makes floor sweep with kiln dried shavings that have been run through our hammer mill and screened for consistency. Our smaller sized shavings, instead of the large and chunky shavings or wet, green shavings, can absorb the oil and wax more consistently. This allows the shavings to do a better job of picking up dust particles when applied to the floor. All of our batches are scaled and all containers are weighed.
